A romantic holiday...

Our apartments are situated in the historic heart of Montepulciano, in Tuscany. They were old store-houses until few years ago; we have recently transformed them in four cozy apartments, taking great care in the decoration to respect the refined but simple country traditional style (wooden beams, terracotta floors, large fireplaces) and offering, in the meantime, all the modern-day life comforts: cozy, comfortable, lovely and romantic are words that you will frequently find if you read the comments posted in our guestbook! Read...

The apartments are in a quiet street, in the middle of the historical area, at a very short distance of the streets with shops, restaurants and wine cellars. Most of the windows offer picturesque views on the roofs and the streets of the old town. We are almost certain that your stay in the Appartamenti in Borgo will be a romantic moment of your holiday. Read and see more on the apartments...

The Pearl of the 16th Century

Montepulciano is a blend of Medieval as well as Renaissance architecture. You will notice it in the elegant Piazza Grande with the cathedral and palaces; in the long road traversing the city, lined with Medieval and 16th century façades, gothic and Renaissance churches; in the many romantic passages and charming little squares. Just outside the walls, the church of San Biagio is an exquisite example of Sangallo's architectural genius. Read more...

...famous for its Vino Nobile

The Nobile must age from 2 to 3 years, with minimum 1 year in wood barrel

Montepulciano's surrounding hills are covered with vineyards which produce the celebrated ruby red Nobile or noble wine, considered one of the best wines in Italy. Ancient wine cellars with their huge wine barrels are found in town as well as several wineries which will welcome your visit. You will hardly resist wine taste temptation. Read more... From your apartment, a very short walk will take you to one of the many restaurants in town. Once you arrive in Montepulciano, finally you can forget the car. And only when you are ready for a day trip in the region, you will have to drive again...

Some guest comments

"I’d seen a lot of places to rent, but nothing like this!... Montepulciano is my 'Holy Grail', and I will always return to this fantastic town. The apartment is so central to all the places I frequent, and I’ve made an army of friends that make this place perfect to stay for a week, or 2, or 6. Un appartamento così perfetto quasi non esiste, purtroppo!"

"The apartment was recently renovated to very high standards (...) Highly, highly recommended!! (...) We enjoyed the double benefit of staying right in a Tuscan town, just walking distance to a selection of cafes, restaurants and other amenities, but having easy access to our rental car so that we could daytrip to see other villages."
